During her career Rosie has created and played many leading roles in West End productions, most notibly 'Felicia Gabriel' in THE WITCHES OF EASTWICK at the Prince Of Wales Theatre and the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane, for which she was nominated for a Laurence Olivier Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Musical. She has twice played Madame Thenadier in Les Miserables, Carlotta in Phantom of the Opera, Miss Andrews in Mary Poppins with many other West End productions under her belt.
Rosie has also more than made her mark in the world of opera playing roles such as 'Esmeralda' in THE BARTERED BRIDE, 'Venus' in ORPHEUS IN THE UNDERWORLD, 'Papagena' IN THE MAGIC FLUTE, 'Fiakermilli' in ARABELLA and 'Zou Zou' in LA BELLE VIVETTE all for the National Opera. 'Helene' in LA BELLE HELENE (New Sadlers Wells Opera), 'Musetta' in LA BOHEME, (Opera Northern Ireland) 'Frasquita' in CARMEN (Earls Court and Japanese Tour), 'Josephine' in HMS PINAFORE (City Centre, New York).
She recently appeared as Mrs. Fraser in STEPPING OUT at Derby Playhouse and as the Begger Woman in SWEENEY TODD at The Royal Festival Hall with Bryn Terfel. In 2007 she played Ruth in THE PIRATES OF PENZANCE for the Carl Rosa Opera Company on a national tour of America and Canada.
