Once described as the 'most famous unknown singer' Diane Shaw has, in her career probably performed in front of more people that most of the singers in the pop charts today.
Diane is being heralded the freshest thing to hit the UK Soul scene in years, bringing an enthusiasm and energy rarely seen on stage today.
After a decade of performing her famous Motown show at glitzy venues all over the UK & Europe, for celebrities and dignitries alike, Diane is now turning her efforts towards going back 'to her musical roots'.
Having grown up with 60's and 70's soul scene, Diane has been busy re-recording and re-making a host of Motown, Northern and Modern Soul classics, and songs that inspired her to become a professional singer from an early age.
From the dynamic and emotive ballads of the likes of Gladys Knight, Aretha Franklin and Dorothy Moore, ventureing into Northern classics of Martha Reeves, Tammi Terrell, The Elgins and the Velvelettes, ending up with the whole room on their feet dancing to a tribute to classics hits from the Four Tops and the Isley Brothers etc. It is true that Dianes' show has something for everyone...
Her career has taken her all over the UK, Europe and the World, and she performs anywhere from intimate parties, cabaret shows and weddings of as little as 50 people, to outdoor festivals as well as soul allnighters and weekenders for audiences of thousands.
