Amy is a very talented and versatile multi woodwind player and is equally at home playing Saxophone, Flute or Clarinet. She can perfrom in a duo or trio to provide high class quality jazz background music at corporate receptions and parties or with her band which suitable for any kind of event
She became the first female musician to join the world famous Big Chris Barber Band in 2011 and spent four years touring with them throughout some of the most highly regarded concert venues in Europe. Some highlights of being in the band include a 3 day stint at Dunluce Castle in Northern Ireland as the support act for Van Morrison and his band, and playing live for TV in Stuttgart, Germany. At the end of 2014 she left the Barber band to focus on her own career.
Her work has included concerts with the Pasadena Roof Orchestra, The London Swing Orchestra, Pete Long's Echoes of Ellington, Keith Nichols Blue Devils Orchestra and Harry Strutters Hot Rhythm Orchestra. She has been lucky enough to play alongside musicians such as Alan Barnes, Bruce Adams, Greg Abate, Mike Hall, Enrico Tomasso, Jeff Barnhart, Jim Fryer, Chris Farlow, John Crocker, Andy Fairweather Low, and many more.
Amy was honoured to be featured and used as a 'cover girl' on the Clarinet and Saxophone Society Magazine and she has since been a featured artist in JazzWise, PhoneBox, Lady and Just Jazz Magazines, as well as taking part in interviews on several regional BBC radio stations.
