A strong, confident performer, Atila began singing at the age of 15 with local big band Young Jazz then in 2002 was invited to work with the UK National Youth Jazz Orchestra performing nationwide and overseas to great acclaim.
In April 2006 Atila toured with the legendary Buddy Greco and earned a new fan in the process. Buddy said, 'I was knocked out by Atila. He has the voice and the class to show the world what great music is all about'.
Buddy invited Atila to tour the UK with him again in the summer of 2008, the highlight being an appearance with the BBC Big Band at the 30th Edinburgh Jazz and Blues Festival, later broadcast on BBC Radio 2 Big Band Special.
Autumn 2009 saw an invitation from the Nelson Riddle Foundation for Atila to perform in The Nelson Riddle Story in Asbury Park, New Jersey. Whilst in the US he also sang live on the Joey Reynolds Radio Show in New York.
Atila has performed on the Alan Titchmarsh Television Show on ITV and at the Cheltenham Jazz Festival with the BBC Concert Orchestra and John Wilson Big Band, broadcast live on BBC Radio 2's Friday Night is Music Night.
Other notable jazz venues where Atila has appeared include Ronnie Scotts. Pizza Express, Pizza on the Park and The Stables, Wavendon and other recent jazz festival appearances include the Bures Jazz Festival, and the British Jazz Foundation Festival.
The late jazz legend Sir John Dankworth predicted 'a very bright future with the possibility of Atilas'name eventually ending up in lights'. Still in his mid twenties Atila has gone on to establish himself as one of Britains' most exciting vocal talents.
